UC Libraries Co-Op
Summer 2025 & Spring 2026
I worked as a Graphic Design Intern for the University of Cincinnati Libraries, where I helped bridge the gap between information and design. Working within a fast-paced communications team, I’ve had the opportunity to design everything from social media graphics to large-scale print exhibits. My focus is on creating cohesive visual narratives that help students and faculty navigate and engage with the Libraries' vast physical and digital collections.
Cincinnati’s Food Mapping
Complementing the historical "Art Atlas," this section of the exhibit explores the intersection of the physical environment and the lived experience of food access. Food Mapping uses data-driven art to engage the community and stimulate dialogue about how our food systems change over time.
International Edible Books
Join the University of Cincinnati Libraries for a celebration of literacy and culinary creativity! Held annually on April 1st, this event invites participants to create "edible books", food items that represent a book title, character, or plot through puns or literal interpretations. Displayed on the 4th floor of the Walter C. Langsam Library, the festival brings together students, faculty, and staff for a lighthearted competition where the entries are eventually eaten by the attendees.
Cincinnati’s Foodshed
This exhibit, displayed in UC’s Langsam Library, showcases the rich history and evolution of the Cincinnati Tristate region’s food economy. Through a blend of artistic storymaps and community driven research, the collection explores the local food movement from its indigenous roots and the "Porkopolis" era to the development of the Bourbon Trail and modern local icons like LaRosa's. It offers a visually stunning journey through the people, innovations, and businesses that have shaped the region's unique culinary landscape.
Honoring the Past, Enriching the Present, Inspiring the Future
This exhibit celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Arlitt Center, a cornerstone of early childhood education since its founding in 1925 by Dr. Ada Hart Arlitt. As one of the nation’s first laboratory preschools, the center has spent a century championing play based learning, nature inspired exploration, and equitable access to high-quality education.
